Beta Tester Guide

This guide gives testers a simple route through the main workflow so feedback is easier to compare and act on.

Start from the homepage

  • Check that the product purpose is clear.
  • Use the Log in or Start Beta button.
  • Confirm the app can be saved to a phone home screen.

Create a case

  • Create a new case with building owner and adjoining owner details.
  • Try the Same as address checkbox for property addresses.
  • Upload Land Registry documents if available.

Complete the job details

  • Add project information and relevant sections of the Act.
  • Check the surveyor role selector.
  • Confirm surveyor and company settings prefill correctly.

Build supporting records

  • Add SoC inspection rows and comments.
  • Upload photos and export a photo schedule.
  • Upload drawings and check the drawing register.

Export documents

  • Export a notice pack.
  • Export an award pack.
  • Review formatting, dates, signatures, names and addresses carefully.

Report anything awkward

  • Use Report an Issue inside the app.
  • Attach screenshots to the email before sending.
  • Tell us where the workflow felt unclear or too slow.
